DAST 201: AI Applications in Agricultural Sciences (New Ecampus Course)
DAST 201 introduces students to practical applications of artificial intelligence in agricultural systems. Students use AI methods to address real agricultural problems, including irrigation management, pest and disease detection, crop yield prediction, livestock monitoring, and farm decision support. The course covers supervised and unsupervised learning, computer vision, ensemble machine learning models such as decision trees and random forests, time-series analysis, anomaly detection, and natural language processing, with an emphasis on hands-on, data-driven decision-making in agriculture.
